Sandra Gail (Keefe) Keyse, age 90, of Newark, Ohio passed away peacefully Saturday, September 5, 2026. She was born in Latty, Ohio on April 28, 1936, to the late Jesse P. and Jeannette (Schoolcraft)Keefe.

Sandra was a homemaker and a Proverbs 31 woman. She loved the Lord and was a devout student of His word, reading through the entire Bible at least 29 times. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was a Sunday School Teacher for 30 years and became a mother and grandmother to many.

Sandra is survived by her children, Michael A. ( Shawna) Keyse and Tamara (Rick) Nelson; daughter-in-law, Layli J. Keyse; grandchildren, Brad Lewis (Kayla Shipley), Ashley Thompson, Jessica (Ryan) Stoops, Aubrey (Grant) Millard, Emma Keyse, Lacie (Justin) Smith, and Victoria Keyse; great-grandchildren, Isaiah, Karmyn, Gunnar, Lainey, Brynley, Josie, Nora, Isla, Esra, Jaxson, Jaycee, and Jayelle; sister, Sonya Crawford; sister-in-law, Ruby Gieseck.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her devoted husband of 68 years, Robert Clinton Keyse; son, Tracy Keyse; siblings, Lyle Keefe, Max Keefe, Ted Keefe, and Newell Keefe.

Visitation will be held from 5-6pm Wednesday, September 9, 2026, followed immediately by a 6pm memorial service at the Christian Apostolic Church, 22 N 23rd st, Newark, Ohio 43055, Pastor Keith Sjostrand officiating.
