Sarah Jane (Wilson) Meyer, age 54, of Newark, passed away Saturday, April 27, 2024, at Licking Memorial Hospital. She was born in Newmarket, England on July 30, 1969,  to Harry and the late Marina (Slater) Wilson.

Sarah worked many years at the family business, Wilson Garden Center. She also worked several years at Longaberger. Sarah enjoyed her pets, Bear and Stella, but focused mainly on being a mother to Sophia, of whom she loved and was very proud.

In addition to her father, she is survived by her daughter, Sophia Meyer; sisters, Kathy (Jim) Serenko and Carol (Brian) Mercer; sister-in-law, Cherry Bogumill; mother-in-law, Becky Meyer; nieces and nephews, Christopher (Katie) Zapatos, Amanda (Chad) Gifford, and Patrick Mercer.

In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her husband of 3 years, Troy Meyer; brother, Gary Bogumill.

Visitation will be held from 4-6:00 pm Saturday, May 4, 2024, at Brucker and Kishler Funeral Home, 985 N 21st, Newark, Ohio 43055.
