Scott Patrick Boldt, 64, of Newark, died Monday, November 25, 2024 at his home. He was born September 14, 1960 in Columbus to Donald M. and Lois R. (Ochsenfeld) Boldt.

Scott was an avid boater and was a member of Donzi Boat Club. He was a fan of the Buckeyes and Browns. He also enjoyed watching Nascar and pulling for his favorite driver, Dale Earhardt. Playing golf with his dad and fellow church members was a regular event and he loved being a grandpa to granddaughter, Sawyer.

He is survived by his daughter, Allison Boldt; granddaughter, Sawyer; father, Donald M. Boldt; sister, Wendy (Bruce) Millett; sister-in-law, Lori Boldt; and nieces and nephews, Alfred Bruce (Amy) Millett III, Jessica Boldt, Rachel (Caleb) Stork, Kelsey Millett, Heather Millett and Victoria Millett.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Lois R. Boldt; and brother, Todd Michael Boldt.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, December 4, 2024 from 12-1 pm at St. John's United Church of Christ, 285 W. National Dr., Newark where a memorial service will follow at 1:00 pm with Rev. Dr. Stephen Swisher officiating.
