Shane Edward Vaughn, 30, of Newark, died Thursday, August 22, 2024. He was born March 22, 1994 in Newark to Mark Edward Vaughn and Kimberly Annette Young.

Shane was kind, big hearted, and had love for everyone. He was full of life, energetic and often goofy. He was a talented craftsman who could fix anything.

He is survived by three sons, Ayedan, Weston and Nolan; mother, Kim Young; father, Mark Vaughn; sisters, Allison (Roger) Nethers and Kayla Thompson; nieces, Addison and Brooklynn; nephew, Bentley; maternal grandparents, Floyd and Dot Young; aunts, Anita (Danny) Lane  and Charlotte (Bob) Schmauch; and uncles, Mike (Jeanette) Vaughn and Scott (Melissa) Young.

He was preceded in death by his son, Clayton; paternal grandparents, John and Irene Vaughn; aunt, Anna (John) Mitchell; and brother-in-law, Richie Thompson.

A funeral service will be held at 4:00 pm on Tuesday, August 27, 2024 at the Brucker and Kishler Funeral Home, 985 N. 21st St., Newark with Scott Karns officiating. Visitation will follow the funeral service from 5-7 pm Tuesday, August 27, 2024 at the funeral home.
