Shannon Marie Ayliffe, 57, of Newark, died Monday, November 2, 2026 at OSU Wexner Medical Center. She was born December 28, 1969 in Royal Oak, MI.

Shannon had a love for shopping and enjoyed spending time outdoors, especially near the water. She dearly loved her dogs and had a heart of gold. Known for her wonderful sense of humor and fun-loving, sometimes crazy personality, Shannon brought laughter and joy to those around her. She was a hard worker, a genuinely good person, and someone whose kindness and big heart will be remembered by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her daughter, Heather Ball; fiancé, Ricky Gant; mother, Suzanne Cowan; brothers, William (Sincirae) Horle, Michael Horle and Chris Henry; sister, Tammy Horle; special niece, Cheyanne Horle; and several other nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, John Alverado; and sister, Theresa Jones.

No funeral services will be held.
