Shawn Lee Balo, age 50, of Newark, passed away Monday, June 24, 2024, at Altercare North Rehabilitation Center. He was born on February 4, 1974, in Plattsburg, NY to David L. and the late Kathe J. (Jones) Balo. Shawn was a movie buff who enjoyed fishing, hunting, golfing, and building with Legos.

He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Chastity (White) Balo; children Katilyn Jewell, Mason Balo, and Natalie Balo; sister, Jaime Balo.

In accordance with Shawn's wishes, no services will be held.
