Sherida Lynne Young Harris Norman, better known as Sherri, passed away on September 20, 2024, from a long health battle. She was born on July 26, 1951, to Jerri (Edna) and Paul Young.

At a young age, Sherri married Larry Joe Norman of Newark and had 5 children. She later divorced and then married John E. Harris for a good portion of life. Life happened, Sherri and Joe found themselves together again. Joe cared for Sherri as her life ailed. Sherri was seldom not smiling, joking, or teasing those around her. She was crafty in many ways, clay, crocheting, sewing and woodworking.  Sherri enjoyed crossword puzzles, card games and, phone games.

Sherri is survived by her life partner Joe; children, Mandi, Missy (Mario) Marty, Didi (Nick); brother, Paul "Bud" Jr (Connie), John; sister, Kathy (Mike); 6 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, and her 3 dogs.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her son, Tony; sister, Judy; brothers, Rick (Deb), Steve (Debbie), Ron, and Jeff.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 12 pm on Saturday, November 2, 2024, at The Newark Church of the Nazarene 200 S. Williams St. Newark, Ohio.
