Sherri A. Donley, 80, the beloved matriarch of the Donley clan, passed away peacefully on February 5, 2025, holding hands with her children. Born on April 21, 1944, in London, Ohio, Sherri's greatest joy and achievement was her large, close-knit family.

As a mother of two boys, grandmother of six, and great-grandmother of six, Sherri was the heart of the Donley family. No longer in pain, no longer tethered to an oxygen tank and no longer having to endure the awful side effects of her chemo, she can now rest in peace and will be reunited with lost loved ones and beloved pets. Sherri's home was always filled with the pitter-patter of paws. She rescued countless animals over the years, from dogs to cats. Her children fondly remember how their mom could not pass up the chance to give a stray animal a loving fur ever home.

Sherri is predeceased by her grandson Joshua Donley, her mother Eileen, father Willis Martin and two brothers, Martin Snyder and Joe Snyder. Sherri is survived by her son Sean Donley (Deborah), son Christopher Donley (Jessica), grandchildren Bradley Donley, Emma Donley, Sam Cousins, Krystina Prycl and Henry Reeb III, great-grandchildren Benji, Asher, Henry IV, Lorah, Alekz and Brock, brother George Snyder and sisters Lois Trine and Lonna Snyder.

A celebration of life will be held on February 15, 2025, at The Landing on Waterworks, 124 Waterworks Rd. in Newark Ohio from three o'clock to six o'clock pm. Family and friends are encouraged to come celebrate Sherri's life and share family stories and fond memories, ensuring that her legacy of love and togetherness continues for generations to come.
