Sherry Lee Butler, 83 of Newark passed away on June 29, 2026 at her residence. She was born on October 29, 1942 in Mt. Vernon, OH to the late Robert Paul and Wilma Eloise (Brown) Wagner.

Sherry was an active member of the Rocky Fork Church of Christ. She enjoyed puzzle books and collecting “Dopey” memorabilia from Snow White. Most of all she loved being a grandma and great-grandma.

She is survived by her daughters, Jeannie (Ben Harmon) Snyder, Robin Butler and Debby Butler; grandsons, Devin Moran and Christopher Lowe; great-grandchildren, Miley, Jeffrey and Carson; sister, Clarice Wagner; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Ronald L. Butler; and siblings, William Wagner, Beverly Martin, Terry Wagner and Patricia Wagner.

A private family graveside service will be held at Rocky Fork Cemetery.
