Stephanie L. Wells, 72, of Newark, died Wednesday, September 9, 2026 at her home. She was born September 30, 1953 in Dayton, OH to the late James and Patricia (Watson) Wells.

Stephanie worked at Callander Cleaners and the LICCO Workshop. She found joy in the simple things in life, especially recycling, delivering candy to her friends, and collecting beautiful art glass. Purple was her favorite color, and she especially enjoyed spending time at The Works. Stephanie will be remembered for her kind heart, thoughtful gestures, and the happiness she brought to those around her.

She is survived by a special cousin, Shonda Carter; and caregiver, Vicky Wilky.

Stephanie will be laid to rest at Cumberland Cemetery in Cumberland, OH.
