Susan Kay Swartz

A Celebration of Life for Susan Kay Swartz, 67, of Kershaw, South Carolina, formerly of Newark, Ohio, will be held at 12:00 p.m. Monday, February 17, 2025, at Brucker and Kishler Funeral home, 985 N. 21st St. Newark.

Sue passed February 8, 2025, at her residence. She was born December 17, 1957, in Columbus, Ohio.

Sue enjoyed crafts and her two dogs and two cats.

She is survived by her sons, Chris (Teija Smith) Clancy and Danny (Jessie Lu Bowen) Clancy; grandchildren, Emily Clancy and Sarah Clancy, Gunner Clancy and Danny Clancy II, and their mother Kristen Swick; siblings, Larry Johnson, Pat Piper, and Bill Piper, and nieces, Heather, Holly, Kaitlyn, Krista, and Kendyl.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Helen Jane (Walter) Piper; sister, Sonni Piper, and brother, Michael Scharbonneau.
