Teresa Carol Keck, 62 of Newark passed away on September 26, 2024 at the Selma Markowitz Center. She was born on July 27, 1962 in Ashland, KY to Carolyn (Crain) Smith and the late Parley Harrison Smith.

Teresa worked at State Farm for 30 years and then went to work at the Battered Women's Shelter in Newark. She enjoyed collecting antiques. Most of all she loved her family and supported them at all of their events.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her sons, Chad Edmund Keck and James Dean Keck; grandchildren, Isabella Carol Keck and Kennadi Grace Keck; sister, Chris Magers; brother, Dan Smith; loving boyfriend, Sam Gayheart; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her father, she is preceded in death by her brother, Brandon Smith.

The family will receive friends from 5-7pm on Tuesday, October 1, 2024 at Brucker-Kishler Funeral Home, 985 N. 21st St., Newark. Funeral service will be held at 7pm with Pastor David Pennington officiating.
