We would like to begin this obituary by sharing that there are no words that can truly express the man that we will miss. He was remarkable beyond all measure. We were blessed to call him husband, dad, papa, son, brother, friend, and coach.

Terrence J. Logue, lovingly known as Terry, passed away peacefully on October 17, 2025, surrounded by his greatest treasure, his family. Born in Lancaster, Ohio, on July 31, 1960, Terry lived a life defined by devotion, kindness, and an unwavering commitment to those he loved and the community he served.

Terry was the cherished husband of Stephanie, his partner of 45 years. They met in The Towers at The Ohio State University their freshman year of college, and have been inseparable ever since. Stephanie was his best friend. Their love was an unbreakable bond, filled with witty banter. They were two of the biggest Ohio State Football fans, spending countless hours cheering on the Buckeyes together. They also shared a love for travel, especially to the beach. Whether it was a dance trip, a weekend getaway to Tennessee, or an inventory run for Stephanie's work, Terry was always ready to get in the car and drive Stephanie wherever she wanted to go. Their favorite trips were any in which they were able to be together, cheering on their daughters or grandchildren.

They raised three daughters, Kristen, Rebecca, and Emily, whom Terry provided with unending love and fierce protection. To his grandchildren, Addison, Gracie, Lena, Holden, Ezekiel, Charlie, and Eloise, Terry was "Papa," a strong man whose warmth, wisdom, and playful spirit left an indelible mark. Words, no matter how beautiful, cannot fully capture the magic of his presence in their lives. To his family, Terry was nothing less than Superman.

Known for his dedication, intelligence, and caring nature, Terry touched the lives of everyone he met. His work ethic was legendary, matched only by his ability to make others feel valued and heard. As a small business owner, Terry poured his heart into serving his customers, creating a welcoming space that quickly became a local hangout. His business was more than a livelihood; it was a reflection of his generosity and commitment to building connections.

A pillar of the Utica community, Terry dedicated countless hours to coaching basketball and football at both the middle and high school levels. His passion for mentoring young athletes went beyond the scoreboard. He instilled values of toughness, competitiveness, teamwork, perseverance, and integrity in every player he coached. Terry's sidelines were a place of fierce encouragement, where he uplifted both boys and girls with his belief in their potential.

When he wasn't coaching, working, or spending time with family, Terry could be found cheering on his Cincinnati Bengals and Cincinnati Reds. He was a loyal fan through every season, win or lose. His passion for the game and his team spirit were just another reflection of his big heart and unwavering loyalty.

Terry's legacy is one of love, service, and quiet strength. He leaves behind a community forever changed by his presence and a family who will carry his memory in their hearts always. In addition to his wife, Stephanie, and daughters, Kristen Smith (Chad) Rebecca Woistman (DJ), and Emily Rowley (Charles), Terry is survived by his grandchildren, father-in-law, Herbert Hodges, brothers Randy Logue (Jeannie), Chris Logue (Bonnie), Jay Patterson, brother-in-law, Mike Hodges, countless nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ray and JoAnn Logue, mother-in-law, Charlotte Hodges, sister Carla Howard, and sister-in-law Angela Hodges.

A visitation will be held on Sunday, October 26, 2025, from 12:30 to 4:00 PM at Brucker & Kishler Funeral Home, 985 N 21st Street, Newark, Ohio 43055. Terry's family invites all who knew and loved him to celebrate his life at 94 Hickory Drive, Pataskala, Ohio 43062, directly following the visitation hours.
