Thomas "Tom" K. Bruah, 82, of Newark, died Friday, April 26, 2024 at Arlington Care Center. He was born March 16, 1942 in Newark to the late Walter B. and Vera A. (Parshall) Bruah Sr.

After high school Tom served four years in the U.S. Navy. When he returned home he worked 10 years at Sprint and 35 years at Alltel retiring from both companies. Tom enjoyed the outdoors, especially fishing and spending time at his computer. He will be deeply missed by his family and he will always be in their hearts.

He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Mary; son, Charles "Scott" (Rachel) Bruah; grandchildren, Saylor Miley and Easton Scott; sister, Rachel (Orville) Felumlee; brother, Walter Baker Bruah Jr; and twin brother, Charles David Bruah.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sisters-in-law, Delora and Linda.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, April 30, 2024 from 11-1 pm at the Brucker and Kishler Funeral Home, 985 N. 21st St., Newark, where the funeral service will follow at 1:00 pm with Pastor Wally McLaughlin officiating. Burial will follow the service at Newark Memorial Gardens where military honors will be presented by the Licking County Veterans Alliance.
