Thomas Williams Jr., age 70, of Newark, passed away on July 12, 2025, in his home. Born on July 10, 1955, to the late Thomas Williams Sr., and Jo Ann (Barker) Williams, in Delaware, Ohio.

He was a 1974 graduate of Utica High School, where he played football. Employed at Ace Hardware, he also had worked at Scott Lumber and Granville Lumber for many years. Tom was a big Cleveland Browns and Ohio State fan. He will be greatly missed by all.

Tom is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Diana (Dutton) Williams; children, Jodi (Shane) Shaw, Travis (Sandra) Williams, Angela Norris and Brevin Norris; grandchildren, Mikayla (Nate), Shayna Shaw, Colton (Makayla), Preston, Cameron, Peyton and Arian Williams, Sakara and Orin Norris, Tracy, Yuver and Jordin Barahona, Elaina and Stephen Deen and Maria; great grandchildren, Aspyn and Thatcher Greene, Bexley Grant; sister Janet (Gene) Whitmer; brothers, Don (Tess) Williams; brother-in-law Dennis (Robin) Dutton; many nieces, nephews and friends.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his stepfather, Bill Stillion; stepmother, Izzy Williams; stepbrothers, Terry and Wayne Kirk; brother-in-law, Danny Dutton.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, July 19, 2025, from 2 - 4 PM at the Brucker and Kishler Funeral Home, where his service will immediately follow at 4 PM with Rev. Kelly Rammell officiating.
