It is with heavy hearts we announce Timothy Lee Hanners, age 67, of Newark, passed away peacefully at Licking Memorial Hospital Friday, September 26, 2025. He was born in Newark on January 13, 1958, to the late George and Judith (Knauff) Hanners.

He is survived by his children, Cory (Mike) Peach and Zac (Alison) Hanners; Step daughters, Kandi (Brian) Melick and Jaime (Logan) Gray; 12 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; siblings, Matt (Cindy) Hanners and Pam (Todd) Klintworth; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister and brother-in-law, Loralee (Randy) Kaneff.

Tim will be deeply missed by all who knew him as he always had a smile, kind word, or joke ready. Tim's favorite place to be was surrounded by people, sharing stories and laughter.

In keeping with Tim's wishes, no services will be held at this time.
