Timothy M. Johnson

A memorial service for Timothy M. Johnson, 78, of Newark, OH, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, April 25, 2025, at Brucker and Kishler funeral home, with pastor J.T. Sowards officiating. Family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. Friday prior to the service at the funeral home, 985 N. 21st St. Newark, OH 43055. Military honors will be conducted by the Licking County Veterans Alliance.

Tim passed away April 16, 2025, at the Selma Markowitz Hospice Care Center. He was born March 1, 1947, in Newark, OH, to the late Edgar "Teed" and Marjorie (Hughes) Johnson.

Tim was a Vietnam Army Military Police veteran. He retired after 39 years from Windstream. He was a member and trustee of Crossroads Baptist Church. He loved spending time with his family and The OSU Buckeyes.

He is survived by his wife, Brenda Lee (James) Johnson; children, Tisha (Gavin) Morgan, Travis (Marsha) Johnson, and Ryann Mortimer; sisters, Diana Woods, Karen Serfozo, and twin sister, Terri Baker; brothers, Todd (Tammy) Johnson, Tracy (Joan) Johnson, Tyler (Heidi) Johnson, and Trent (Pam) Johnson; grandchildren, Jordin Baker, Tori (Quentin) Hayes, Jesse Bricker, Temi Morgan, and Tobi Morgan; great-grandchildren, Justin Devore, Jeremiah Devore, Koben Hayes, Quinlea Hayes, and Anna, Jesse III, Adilynn, Everleigh, and Elaina Bricker, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Crossroads Baptist Church.
