Timothy W. McPeak, 67 of Newark passed away on September 5, 2026 at Arlington Care Center. He was born on May 7, 1959 in Newark, OH to the late Paul L. and Linda Sue (Williams) McPeak.

Tim loved to work on old cars. Though he never was able to join the circus, he was always entertaining. From the head stands and practical jokes of childhood to the awful dad jokes of today, Tim was always a joker. He had a heart of gold and a library of jokes to make any day better. If he could, he would say “BOO!! and yes, I died on purpose”.

He is survived by his daughter, Jessica McPeak; grandchildren, Eleanor, Lillian, Henry IV and Theodore Wilson; siblings, Kevin McPeak, David (Deb) McPeak, Linda Salyer and Mary Carpenter; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Linda McPeak.

The family will receive friends from 5-6pm on Friday, September 18, 2026 at Brucker-Kishler Funeral Home, 985 N. 21st St., Newark. Memorial service will follow at 6pm with Pastor Roger Conley officiating. Burial will be held at St. Joseph Cemetery at a later date.
