Obituary

Tina S. Belcher, 74 of St. Louisville passed away on September 2, 2025 at OSU Medical Center. She was born on January 11, 1951 in Perry County, OH to the late Paul D. and Ruth L. (Carney) Moore.

Tina had a lifelong passion for horses, dedicating much of her life to their care and training. She was a certified training instructor and a former 4-H advisor with the Ridge Riders and local trail riding clubs, where she inspired many young riders with her knowledge and love for the equestrian life. Beyond the stables, Tina enjoyed traveling, capturing memories through photography, and sharing her creativity as a ceramics teacher. She also enjoyed camping and spending time in nature.

She is survived by her husband, Bill Belcher, Sr.; son, Bill Belcher, Jr; daughter, Valerie (Mark) Dorris; sister-in-law, Judy (Danny) Yates; nieces and nephews, Michael, Jeannette, Cheryl, Penny, Joanne, Steve, Charlene, Johnny and many other nieces and nephews. Also survived by her penpal since she was 8 years old, Rena Fullerton; dear friends, Lynne Cartwright and Linda French; many other friends and four legged friends.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her granddaughter, Chelsea Lynn Belcher; brother, Gary Moore; brother-in-law, James Belcher; sisters-in-law, Ida Mae Belcher and Dorothy Phillips; and special friend, Dixie Hysell.

The family will receive friends from 11:30-1:30pm on Friday, September 5, 2025 at Brucker-Kishler Funeral Home, 985 N. 21st St., Newark. Graveside service will follow at 2pm at Wilson Cemetery.
