Todd A. Walters, a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, coach, and friend, passed away peacefully on October 2, 2026, leaving behind a lifetime of love, memories, and a family who will carry him in their hearts forever.
Born on January 18, 1965, Todd was a man who loved deeply and lived wholeheartedly. He was the beloved husband of Tina Walters, his partner in life and the heart of their family.
Todd’s greatest pride was his family. He was a devoted father to his three daughters, Ashley Walters, Amber Walters, and Alison Davis, and there was never a question of whether Dad would show up—he always did.
Some of Todd’s favorite memories were made on the ball fields, where he spent countless hours coaching his daughters. From tee ball to fast pitch, he could be found coaching, encouraging, teaching, or proudly standing on the sidelines. He watched his girls grow through every inning, every muddy field, every win, every loss, and every lesson along the way. His dedication helped lead the Mud Bugs all the way to Nationals, but to Todd, the real victory was simply being there for his girls.
And then came the grandchildren—his absolute pride and joy.
Todd loved being a granddad, and he embraced every bit of the beautiful chaos that came with it. He loved having his grandchildren running freely through his home, filling it with noise, laughter, messes, and memories. He was the kind of grandpa who didn’t just watch from the sidelines—he was right in the middle of it all.
Todd is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Tina M. Walters; daughters, Ashley Walters; Amber (Danny) Walters, Alison (Brandon) Davis; grandchildren: Aidan Walters, Chloe Walters, Carson Phyllips, Adalyn Phyllips, Chase Phyllips, Abbigal Walters, Nevaeh Meyers, Lincoln Davis, and Lillian Davis. Each of them held a special place in his heart, and each will carry a piece of their grandpa with them. Sister, Teresa (Jack) Gardner; their children, Jessica, Jacob, and Jackson; brother, Tim Walters; his children, Tylor, David, and Caleb; nephew, Aaron (Lani) Copenhaver.
Todd was preceded in death by his mother, Ida Knox, his sister, Tina Ivanoff, and other beloved family members who welcomed him home.
Outside of his family, Todd had plenty of passions. He was a proud Ohio State Buckeyes fan and a loyal Cleveland Browns fan. He loved fishing, the outdoors, and anything involving guns. But more than any hobby, team, or pastime, Todd loved spending time with the people he called family.
Those who knew Todd will remember his unwavering devotion to his family, his love of the outdoors and sports, his years spent coaching from the ball field sidelines, and most of all, the way he loved being a dad and grandad.
His greatest legacy will not be found in trophies, fishing trips, football games, or even the countless memories made along the way. It will be found in the family he loved so fiercely, the daughters he proudly raised, the grandchildren who adored him, and the love he gave so freely.
The house may be a little quieter now, the ball fields a little emptier, and the chaos of grandchildren running through the home will be deeply missed, but he will never truly be gone.
He will be there in every baseball field, every fishing trip, every Buckeye game, every muddy pair of shoes, every family gathering, and every loud, beautiful moment that reminds us just how much he loved us.
Forever our Husband, Forever our Dad, Forever our Granddad, Forever our Brother.
