Trena Louise Huffman

A Celebration of Life for Trena Louise Huffman, 61, of Heath, OH, will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, November 19, 2025, at Brucker and Kishler Funeral Home, 985 N. 21st St. Newark.

Trena passed away November 16, 2025, at Licking Memorial Hospital. She was born December 19, 1963, in Newark, OH, to the late Charles G. and Clarice L. (Hupp) Covert.

Trena was a loving soul who found joy in her horse, Scooter, and her dogs, Charlie and Bernie. She cherished her family above all and had a gift for touching the hearts of everyone she met.

She is survived by her children, Nathan (Jodi) Gayheart, Logan (Skyler) Legg, and Clarice (Franklin Sines) Huffman; siblings, Charles (Cathy) Covert, JoAnn Jones, Darrell (Vicky) Covert, Lynn (George) Baruxes, Ruth Cates, and Terry (Tammy) Covert; grandchildren, Brooklyn, Emily, and Samuel; great-grandson, Jaxon; numerous nieces and nephews; longtime companion, Gordon Droke, and special friend, Robert Sweet.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandson, Ray Gayheart, and brother, Jeff Covert.
