Vernon "Butch" Breese, age 77 of Newark, died Thursday, September 5, 2024 at the Selma Markowitz Hospice Center. He was born September 10, 1946 in Wilmington, OH.

Butch enjoyed seeing live music, listening to vinyl records, his weekly trips to the shooting range, scuba diving, riding his Harley, and spending time with his friends.

He is survived by his best friend, Jaron McCoy; ex wife, Denise Glaube; the Knapp family and his Thirty One West family.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Indus Dennis; and beloved K-9 companion, Duke.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
