Obituary

Gini could be described by the virtue of " F aithful ness " throughout her long life to her fa mily, her friends, her responsibilities, and her Lord. Gini was born and raised by her family in their beautiful home in Athens, Ohio . S he met Gerry Ramsey in high school beginning a relati onship that lasted over 75 years and was the love of her li fe. She was the captain of her cheerleaders' team while Gerry was a football star. She went on to attend Ohio University, befor e becoming a war bride and follow ed Gerry across the country where he served in the Navy as an airplane pilot. In midlife sh e en tered a business career and became very successful at Western Electric in Columbus, OH where she found jobs for many grateful people over the years. As a mother she led her three children, Gerry Jr., Bud, and Becky by her example of faithfulness and responsibility, which resulted in all three marrying and remaining faithful to their high school sweethearts throughout their lifespans . Gini and Gerry enjoyed an idyllic retirement of almost 30 years in Florida where they enjoyed playing golf. Gini shot two "Holes in One" in her go lfing years! She lovingly care d f or Gerry, without ever complaining, in his final years with Alzh ei mer ' s . None of her remaining family can ever remember her raising her voice in anger toward another person. She was always a gracious lady.
