Virginia Ann Wright, 88, of Newark, died Thursday, August 15, 2024 at the Selma Markowitz Hospice Center. She was born March 9, 1936 in Newark to the late Frank and Lydia (Ogg) Roberts.

Virginia was an avid traveler and was always ready for a trip. She enjoyed playing Bingo, gambling, and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her children, Susan O'Brien, Mark Wright, Steve (Patty) Wright and Kim (Clark) Borgia; eight grandchildren, Savana and Vanessa O'Brien, Steve and Chasidy Wright, Tiffany (Shad) Tyson, Amanda and Jessica Wright, and Reece Borgia; 12 great grandchildren; nieces, Sharon Naderhoff, Bev Wissinger and Patty Dinkins; and nephew, Frank Wren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 27 years, Foster Wright; granddaughter, Heather Wright; son-in-law, Terry O'Brien; brothers, George and John Roberts; and sister, Alice Marie Burge.

Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Virginia to Hospice of Central Ohio.

A graveside service will be held Tuesday, August 27, 2024 at 11:30 am at Wilson Cemetery.
