Private services for Waylin Benson Paul, a cherished 6-month-old boy of Newark, will be held at Brucker and Kishler Funeral Home. Private burial will be held at St. Joseph Cemetery.

Waylin passed away on April 23, 2026, at Licking Memorial Hospital. Waylin was born on October 15, 2025, at Licking Memorial Hospital to his loving parents, Cameron M. Paul and Kianna Jo Crozier.

Waylin, a beloved six-month-old boy, brought endless joy and light to those around him. He was a happy, goofy, and talkative little soul whose laughter could brighten any room. Full of curiosity and energy, Waylin loved to play and explore the world in his own sweet way.

He especially enjoyed watching sports on TV, with hockey capturing his attention the most. Whether he was giggling at the screen or simply taking it all in, those moments reflected his vibrant and cheerful spirit. Waylin also cherished time spent with his older brother, Oaklin. The two shared a special bond, often playing together, especially with his brother’s toy cars, which brought him so much excitement. Waylin’s face would light up whenever he saw his parents, a reflection of the deep love he felt and the love he was surrounded by every day. Though his time here was far too short, the happiness and warmth he gave will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered always.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his older brother, Oaklin Paul; paternal grandmother, Rhonda Stare; maternal grandparents, Joe and Sandy Crozier; maternal great-grandmother, Kathy Crozier; aunts, Kendra Crozier and Samantha Crozier, and cousin, Zayden Crozier.
