William E. Appleman

A funeral service for William E. Appleman, 93, of Newark, OH, will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, March 15, 2024, at Brucker and Kishler Funeral Home, with Pastor Casey Wilson officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery, where Military Honors will be conducted by the Licking County Veterans Alliance. Family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, March 14, 2024, at the funeral home, 985 N. 21st St. Newark.

Bill passed away March 9, 2024, at his residence. He was born March 9, 1931, in Delaware County, OH, to the late Harry and Edna (Burroughs) Appleman.

Bill was one of eleven brothers and sisters. He was an Army Veteran in the Korean War (1951-1953). He retired from Rockwell and after retirement he worked at TSC. He was a farmer, hard worker, wonderful dad, and a member of UAW.
Bill is survived by his children, Trish (Pat) Sims, Jeff Appleman, and Andy Appleman; daughter-in-law, Becky Stafford; eight grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren; his dog, Henry, and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Flora K. (Dickerson) Appleman, and son, Rick Stafford
