William "Will" Arthur Ridenbaugh, 75, of Johnstown, died in his home on February 1, 2024. William was born in Newark, Ohio to Paul and Margaret Ridenbaugh on December 9, 1948.
Will was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He served from 1968-1970 during the Vietnam War. He was an avid racing fan and participant. He enjoyed building and flying model airplanes, fishing, and water sports.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Patricia Ridenbaugh; father, Paul Ridenbaugh; mother, Margaret Ridenbaugh; and brother, David Ridenbaugh.
He is survived by three daughters, Billie Douglas, Jodi (Gary) Ridenbaugh, Tammi (Doug) Smith; grandchildren, Troy Harris, Brittany Barrett, Brooke (Adam) Blash, Daren (Nene) Brightman, Logan (Ashe) Brightman, Skylar (Arron) Wilcox, Caitlyn (Aric) Brightman, Shaylan (Chris) Macias, Quintan Ridenbaugh, Kristin Smith, Jenna Brown, Scott (Emily) Smith, and Caleb (Emily) Smith; 23 great grandchildren; and brothers, Ted (Dorothy) Ridenbaugh and Doug Ridenbaugh.
Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Will to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and/or ASPCA and/or Wounded Warrior Project.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, February 7, 2024 from 5-7pm at the Brucker and Kishler Funeral Home, 985 N. 21st St., Newark, where military honors will be presented by the Licking County Veterans Alliance at 7:00 pm.
