William "Bill" Mintier, age 99, of Newark, passed away at his home Wednesday, February 5, 2025. He was born in Mt. Vernon, Ohio on June 27,1925, to the late Robert and Grace (Lawson) Mintier.

Bill proudly served his country in the US Army during WWII. He enjoyed playing golf and bowling and was loved by everyone who knew him.

He is survived by his wife of 69 years, Barbara Ann (Bline) Mintier; children, Michelle (David) Bricker and Kevin (Jennifer Branstool) Mintier; grandchildren, Matthew and Jennifer Bricker; great-grandchild, Zaylee Bricker.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his 9 older siblings.

An 11:00 am graveside service with military honors presented by the Licking County Veterans Alliance will take place Monday February 10, 2025, at Wilson Cemetery, Pastor Ray Blakley officiating.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to Victoria, Bernadette, Rachel, and Chelsey from Hospice of Central Ohio for the compassionate care given to Bill.
